It's been seven weeks now. (A long time.) But you never really get used to it.
... Which is good. I'd be worried if people here were just fine with it.
(He'll pick at some of the popcorn too. Sharing makes it easier?)
Same here. (He speaks lightly, maybe a bit distantly, but he's really just trying to be calm and stable for Usagi,) Teach was one of the first people here that I spoke to and Ochako... we only recently started getting close but I really liked her.
Mm....... It's difficult, knowing it's coming and yet still hurt every week.
[ sharing is caring. she sets it somewhere they can both access. ]
Chiron-san was one of my roommates early on. I came to rely on him a lot over the last few weeks. Occhan is-..... was... as well along with being one of my best friends here.
Knowing an iron is hot doesn't make it any less hot when you touch it.(Knowing something painful is coming doesn't make it less painful. ) At best, all you can do is brace yourself for it.
(He listens to her and makes notes,)
Yeah, he was a real reliable one. Ochako too, actually.
(He relied on both of them.)
I don't know why, but I don't like mourning. Not in the usual way, at least... If I died, the last thing I would want is for the people I left behind to talk about me sadly. (This feels right to him, even if it doesn't match up with... the customs he remembers.) I'd want everyone to talk about me fondly and share stories.
I guess what I'm saying is... do you wanna share stories? Remember one moment that makes you fond?

(Take care of yourself.
He'll sit with her though and watch the ocean for a bit in silence, letting that settle between them for a moment.)
Wanna talk? Y'know, say what you're feeling?

.......It's just like everyone else. We've lost someone important to us again.
[ she sounds incredibly tired of it, the constant loss ]
I've lost another friend to this place.
