Where as the others had all had some measured difference, a growing distance between them as they'd gone higher and higher, this time, he tries to aim as close to her's as possible. Of course, it takes real skill to do something like split and arrow and there's always some room for error, even during perfect conditions with one's personal, best arrows.
But his arrow comes close to hers, only slightly above hers. If they'd had a real target with rings, they'd probably be sharing the same ring.)
I think we're the same. (Lowering his bow and watching her now,) Of course, I expect us to have our differences but hopefully, we can work through those if not set them aside for what we want here.
Yona narrows her eyes, then draws her last arrow from where it's tucked into the sash at her waist, and nocks it.
She takes a little longer to aim, this time. And as much as she would like to try to split his arrow down the middle, that would be wasteful, given that they don't have all that many to start with. When she lets it fly, she holds her breath - and it sticks to the tree with a solid thunk, just to the left of his.
Yona lowers her bow and smiles at him.]
Some differences are a good thing - having different perspectives will help us notice things the other might miss. But I think we're similar enough that we should be able to work together.
And he tucks bow under his arm and gives her a polite round of applause,)
Well, that was fun. We'll have to do this again!
(Truly! He had a lot of fun and he's going to go over to collect those arrows! The first few are easy to get but once they start to get higher up, he sets his bow down next to him and kneels down, and looks at Yona,)
I'll give you hand.
(He laces his fingers together, a nice little step for Yona to perch herself on to reach those higher arrows easily.)
...okay, so that's not exactly how it goes, but it's also not totally inaccurate and it's funny, so it's staying in this tag. With the boost, it's much easier for her to grab the higher arrows - though she does have to stretch her arm out a little for the highest ones.]
